Summer Soulstice 2017 was once again an amazing day for those that went, with a great line-up of DJ’s and some great live acts on the main stage.
Back in 2007 the family and friends of Andy Weekes who had sadly died of cancer in 2006, organised the first Summer Soulstice as a tribute to him. After more than a decade the event has become a popular yearly all-dayer on the soul music scene which continues to support ‘Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’ and two other worthwhile causes.
Once again this year’s Summer Soulstice was a sell-out and saw ‘Aisling Iris’, ‘Steve Arrington’ and ‘Shaun Escoffrey’ performing live on the main stage.
